If you were not aware we were vacationing this week, don’t feel badly. I don’t think we were either.
It sounded like a good plan: stay home, rest, save money. But we ended up doing really mundane things like clean out the garage and go to a couple of movies. And a ball game.
In the end, I suppose we are more rested. And by the time the weekend is over, we should be able to park 2 cars in the garage. But to be honest, nobody around here is looking forward to next week.
I read a quote recently that said the problem with life is that it is just so daily. I have to agree. But in the midst of the “dailies”, there is sunshine and blue skies and little boy smiles and so much happiness and blessing. So here’s some of my blessedness in picture form.
