So, continuing from the last post, after the concert at church we had a week off of Christmas events to focus on winter basketball.  (How’s that for a segue???)

Turns out, Samuel LOVES basketball and even made a basket in his first game!  Here he is in his uniform:

Here’s an action inactive shot:

That picture makes me laugh so hard.  Does that make me a bad mom?

Also, Matthew lost another tooth.  That makes three missing on the top:

And as long as we’re talking about Matthew (and non-Christmas events), he tested for his yellow belt last week!  The videos don’t include much in the way of sound because we were standing on the other side of a wall, shooting video through a window.

Here he is wearing his yellow belt!

On the way home, he couldn’t wait to put on his new sparring gear!

And then, at home, he had to put it all on!

So back to the Christmas stuff.

During Thanksgiving break and the weeks after, we decorated the house and I worked my tail off on all the teacher gifts.  Here is some evidence:

(Note the gifts hanging on the tree!  I found a way to make gift card holders and taped a ribbon the back so I could use them to decorate the tree.)

Teacher gifts are all gone now.

One of my favorite Christmas decorations is our card wreath.

I love this view.

Okay, next time, I promise video of Samuel’s Christmas program from his preschool!
