Thanks for stopping by my personal blog. I write mostly for extended family to keep up with us, but anyone is welcome! I am highly sarcastic so take everything you read with a grain of salt. I also tend to exaggerate. I am a work in progress and working to help my children progress at the same time. You can reach me at [email protected].

P.S.

http://myscrapbooksite.com/

In my fluster to correct my mistake in accidentally publishing my last post, I forgot to add something.

(Wouldn’t it be funny if I accidentally published this one right now?  You would forever be wondering what I forgot to add.)

(Or not.)

Anywho.  The point is that I have been scrapbooking a lot lately and have been pretty excited about some of the new techniques and pages I have copied created.  I’ve been posting pictures of said pages on my other blog, www.myscrapbooksite.com, but am trying to figure out how to repost them here, as well.

This is for those of you who don’t care a lick about scrapbooking but are interested in the many many pictures of our kids that end up filling said scrapbooks.

Meanwhile, until I am able to figure out the whole republishing thing, feel free to visit the other site.  You might just discover there’s a hidden scrapbooker lurking inside of you.

And yes, scrapbooker is totally a word.

Because I just added it to wikipedia.

(Not really.)

Weenie Man

[Lyrics]

I know a Weenie Man
He owns a Weenie Stand
He sells most anything from hot dogs on down.
Someday I’ll be his wife,
His little Weenie Wife,
Oh how I love that Weenie Man.

[Spoken]

Oh Weenie Man,
I love you so.
Weenie Man,
Oh don’t you know.
Weenie Man,
Come on, let’s go!
To the park, to see the show!

[Repeat lyrics]

Sunday, as we were driving to church, I decided to put in some of the CDs we used to listen to when the kids were babies & toddlers.

They were not amused.  At first.

Then we found a CD that – no kidding – is labeled “Toddler”.  I believe Kim gave it to us many years ago, but if someone else reading this gave it to us, I’m sorry and I blame it on all those brain cells I lost during childbirth.

Anywho.

So I put in the CD and Brad immediately started flipping through through the songs.  We all got tickled when he would listen for just a few seconds then say “Nope” and flip to the next track.

Until we hit the Weenie Man song.  If you haven’t heard it before, you’re missing a real treat.  The words to something like this:
