On Day 15 of our pool build, we got all the water pumped out of the shell. It was an impressive amount, but I was ready to move on.
On Day 16 (yesterday), we finally saw progress again. At 6:50am, the stonework began!!!
Here they are, unloading the huge rocks from the truck. Notice how dark it still is?
After most of the day, here’s what the coping (the edge of the pool) looked like.
Another view of the coping on Thursday.
After they left for the day, this is where we were on the pool. You can see the stone around the spa taking shape, as well as the coping around most of the outer edge. Also, electrical was done today, which was another box we had to check before getting the paving stones put in. The pavers will essentially create the floor of our backyard, and I can’t wait to be able to walk outside again! Even so, this whole thing has moved much more quickly than I could have ever hoped.
